Over and over again, I was left feeling unseen, unloved, and used. When I met Jeremy, something felt different.
He wasn’t like the others. He was kind, thoughtful, spiritually grounded. I remember crying in his car one night,
long before we were married, telling him with everything in me that pornography was a dealbreaker.
That if he ever betrayed me that way, I couldn’t stay. So when, years into our marriage, he confessed
what he’d been struggling with all along—everything I had feared came rushing back. The lies I had fought so hard
to silence roared louder than ever: “You’re not worth loving.” “You’re just an object.” “You’ll never be enough
for a man to stay faithful.” I felt hollow. The pain was more than betrayal—it was confirmation of the deep, aching
belief that I was disposable. At that moment, something else began to stir— something holy. Not immediately
and not without tears. God began to speak. This book is part of the story that followed.
